Aaron Judge's availability for Yankees in ALDS vs. Rays still uncertain

New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone stated that outfielder Aaron Judge remains questionable for the American League Division Series opener against the Tampa Bay Rays. Judge has been sidelined since mid-September due to a calf issue and missed the wild-card sweep of Boston, though coaching staff evaluated his progress following recent live batting practice and running sessions at Tropicana Field and Steinbrenner Field.

The team faces a morning deadline to finalize their active roster ahead of the contest, where right-hander Gerrit Cole is slated to start against Tampa Bay pitcher Drew Rasmussen.
