Aaron Donald might make his 2026 season debut for the Los Angeles Rams in their upcoming Week 2 Monday Night Football matchup against the New York Giants. Following an extended retirement, the defensive lineman sat out the Rams' regular season opener, in which Los Angeles suffered a defeat against the San Francisco 49ers during a game held in Australia.

While head coach Sean McVay has remained noncommittal and uncertain regarding Donald's availability, reports indicate there is genuine optimism for his appearance. The Rams face pressing defensive needs after standout edge defender Myles Garrett sustained a knee injury that will sideline him onto the injured list.
