Aaron Donald provides major update on return status

Aaron Donald intends to suit up for the Los Angeles Rams in their Week 2 Monday night clash against the New York Giants. The 35-year-old defensive tackle stepped away from football in 2024, but opted to end his hiatus this past offseason to pursue another championship alongside recent acquisition Myles Garrett.

Head coach Sean McVay and team leadership have left the final participation choice in Donald's hands, which would mark his first game appearance in over two and a half years.

His anticipated comeback arrives at a critical juncture for the defense following Garrett's placement on injured reserve. The Rams are looking to rebound after dropping their season opener during an overseas trip to Australia.
