A'ja Wilson just showed Caitlin Clark there are levels to this game

The WNBA postseason opened with stellar performances across the league, highlighted by Breanna Stewart securing 34 points and Paige Bueckers putting up 21 points on 90 percent shooting in her playoff debut. Angel Reese also contributed a strong double-double during her rookie playoff appearance.

However, the marquee opening-round showdown pitted the Las Vegas Aces against the Indiana Fever, a squad coming off a record-setting offensive regular season led by Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell.

Despite Indiana setting historic scoring marks and capturing conference recognition, reigning champion Las Vegas made quick work of their challengers behind a legendary display from A'ja Wilson. The veteran star dominated both ends of the court to finish with 38 points, 16 rebounds, two assists, two steals, and four blocks while shooting an incredible 15-for-19 from the floor.

Her defensive intensity and offensive clinic overwhelmed Clark and Mitchell, who struggled significantly from the field as the defending champions made a resounding statement.
