A history of Mekhi Becton, the Packers’ latest offensive line addition

The Green Bay Packers have secured the services of offensive lineman Mekhi Becton, adding a remarkably large competitor to their roster. Becton enters this new chapter following stops with the New York Jets, Los Angeles Chargers, and Philadelphia Eagles.

During his collegiate career, Becton started for three seasons with the Louisville Cardinals, appearing in 35 contests and earning a first-team All-ACC selection in 2019. Selected eleventh overall in the 2020 draft by the Jets, his professional journey has included a rookie campaign at left tackle, major injuries in subsequent seasons, and proximity to Aaron Rodgers' Achilles injury in 2023.
