9/26 Gamethread: Giants vs. Dodgers

As the 2026 baseball season reaches its final stages, the San Francisco Giants welcome the postseason-bound Los Angeles Dodgers to Oracle Park for the second-to-last matchup of the year. Rookie left-hander Matt Wilkinson takes the mound for the home team to make his fifth start and seventh overall appearance of the campaign, looking to build upon a previous five-inning shutout against this same divisional rival.

The Dodgers counter with veteran southpaw Blake Snell, who returns for his ninth start of the year following a multi-month absence. Snell has maintained a strong 4-1 record and a 1.86 ERA thus far, having avoided allowing multiple runs in any single appearance since returning to the active roster.
