The NFL’s top tier remains crowded as Week 5 approaches, with three teams still undefeated and eight others sporting just one loss. However, the debate over who truly holds the crown as the league’s best has intensified, prompting a reshuffling of the power rankings.
Teams like the Seattle Seahawks, Jacksonville Jaguars, Carolina Panthers, Las Vegas Raiders, and Cleveland Browns have all seen their stock rise after being previously overlooked, while the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings continue to face skepticism about their long-term potential. The Packers remain mired in struggles, while the Vikings, despite a strong start, still need to prove they can sustain their early success against tougher competition.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, the Tennessee Titans and Miami Dolphins are both mired in early-season chaos. The Titans, despite the emergence of rookie wide receiver Carnell Tate, have failed to capitalize on their offensive potential, marking the second consecutive season they’ve started 0-4.
Meanwhile, the Dolphins, despite a spirited effort against the Vikings, remain the league’s worst team statistically, with quarterback Malik Willis struggling to live up to expectations. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, meanwhile, have shown little improvement with rookie quarterback Jalon Daniels at the helm, continuing their 0-4 start for the first time since 2017.
