Auburn sophomore Logan Reilly and Oklahoma State senior Preston Stout each posted a 65, 7‑under‑par, to share the men’s individual title at the East Lake Cup on Monday. Reilly’s round featured eight birdies and a single bogey, while Stout matched the score about thirty minutes later to claim his ninth collegiate victory.
Their 65s broke the previous East Lake Golf Club record of 6‑under held by former Texas player Scottie Scheffler and Oklahoma State’s Zach Bauchou. Reilly’s win came after he sank the decisive putt for Auburn’s NCAA team championship in June, and Stout noted he learned of Reilly’s final score from teammate Josiah Gilbert.
On the women’s side, Arkansas senior María José Marín carded a 5‑under 68 to win the individual title, leaving Arkansas two shots behind USC heading into day two.
