2026 Bank of Utah Championship: Jackson Koivun birdies final hole to make cut on the number

Jackson Koivun secured his spot for the weekend at the Bank of Utah Championship after carding a second-round 67. Needing a strong finish on Friday, the 21-year-old birdied three of his final five holes, capped off by a risky bunker shot with a 3-wood on the 18th that set up a successful putt and brought him to 6 under par.

Following a collegiate career and recent victories including the 3M Open and a strong showing at the Presidents Cup, Koivun admitted to feeling mentally fatigued during the first two rounds in Utah, where he sits eleven strokes behind leader Austin Smotherman heading into the weekend.
