"You can’t play Naman Dhir": Kris Srikkanth questions India XI vs West Indies

Following India's comfortable eight-wicket victory over the West Indies in Sunday's opening fixture, former skipper Kris Srikkanth raised concerns regarding the team selection. While praising Shubman Gill for his century and Kuldeep Yadav for his four-wicket haul during the successful chase of 296, Srikkanth questioned the debut of all-rounder Naman Dhir.

With established top-order batters comfortably reaching the target, Dhir did not bat and went wicketless across five overs, leading the analyst to question the necessity of his inclusion.
