During the third T20I encounter between India and New Zealand, Naman Dhir produced a spectacular fielding effort near the boundary to dismiss opener Finn Allen. Allen had accumulated forty runs from twenty-five balls before falling to a delivery from Nitish Kumar Reddy.

Later, Daryl Mitchell compiled an unbeaten eighty-nine and Bevon Jacobs added thirty-nine not out, lifting the hosts to a total of 198/3 in twenty overs. In response, Abhishek Sharma smashed one hundred thirty-three runs alongside Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's forty-five, securing a six-wicket victory for India in just 13.2 overs and sealing an unassailable 3-0 series advantage.
