‘This Is Indefensible,’ ‘That’s Grounds for Termination’ — CFB Fans Reject ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit’s Controversial Steak Order

During a recent college football broadcast, ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit caused a stir on social media by revealing his culinary preference for well-done steak topped with A1 sauce. Fans and media personalities quickly flooded the internet with mocking reactions to the unusual order while Herbstreit was calling the matchup between top-ranked Texas and Tennessee.

On the field, the Longhorns managed to escape with a narrow 20-17 victory over the Volunteers to maintain their undefeated record at 4-0. Texas defender Colin Simmons starred in the contest by tying a program record with five sacks, while Tennessee quarterback Faizon Brandon threw for 145 yards and a touchdown despite absorbing ten sacks and briefly exiting the game with a shoulder injury.
