Indian javelin thrower Yashvir Singh added another significant piece of international silverware to his collection by claiming the silver medal at the recent Asian Games. Competing in Nagoya, Japan, the competitor unleashed a personal best effort of 85.72m on his final throw, though it ultimately fell short of surpassing Rumesh Pathirage of Sri Lanka for the top spot.
This latest podium finish follows an earlier bronze medal performance at the Commonwealth Games held in Glasgow, marking his second major international success within the same calendar year.
