'Obscene' New Zealand club XI features four Blackcaps, including World Cup record breaker

A star-studded New Zealand club cricket match on October 17 will feature four current Blackcaps, including Finn Allen, who holds the record for the fastest T20 World Cup century. Allen, Jimmy Neesham, Adithya Ashok, and Ben Lister will all take the field for SNLCC, while Bevon Jacobs will play for Hibiscus Coast.

The lineup has sparked widespread fan reactions, with some questioning whether the squad is even legal and others joking about Allen’s limited international runs since his record-breaking semifinal performance. All four players have represented New Zealand this year, with Allen and Neesham set to return for the upcoming T20I and ODI series against India, while Lister and Ashok have recent international experience in ODIs and T20s.
