'Kuldeep Yadav will seal his place for next year’s World Cup' - Abhinav Mukund’s huge remark on India star after IND vs WI 2026 1st ODI

India secured an eight-wicket triumph against the West Indies in the opening one-day international on September 27, 2026. Playing at Greenfield International Stadium, Thiruvananthapuram, the home side chased down the target successfully after restricting the touring team to 295 for seven.

Kuldeep Yadav spearheaded the bowling attack by claiming four wickets for forty runs during his ten-over spell, which dismantled the batting lineup after an opening century stand. Former player Abhinav Mukund noted that this stellar display could guarantee the left-arm wrist-spinner a permanent spot for the upcoming World Cup, while Naman Dhir also featured by making his format debut.
