West Indies head coach Daren Sammy has voiced his frustration regarding the extremely batter-friendly tracks used in the ongoing three-match ODI series against India, describing the contests as heavily skewed towards hitters. Ahead of the final fixture, Sammy pointed to the grueling second encounter at Barsapara Stadium, where his side put up a historic total of 405 runs led by centuries from John Campbell, Shai Hope, and Amir Jangoo, only for India to successfully chase it down with eight wickets in hand behind Rohit Sharma's unbeaten century.
Sammy conceded that while the surfaces offer little assistance to the bowling attack, he continues to push his squad to maintain discipline and restrict opponents more effectively.
