“He Wants His $10 Million”: Kevin Kisner Questions Rory McIlroy’s Alleged Appearance Fee in the Name of Global Golf Growth

Kevin Kisner has publicly challenged Rory McIlroy's stated motivations for competing in the upcoming DP World India Championship. While McIlroy claims his participation is driven by a desire to support the growth of golf in India, Kisner argues the decision is financially motivated by a significant appearance fee.

The event, held at the Delhi Golf Course, will see McIlroy compete without his driver for the second year in a row due to the course's specific layout, a strategy also adopted by Ryan Fox and Min Woo Lee. Although no official figures have been released, estimates suggest the payout for top participants could exceed $680,000.
