Preview: Eastern Illinois Panthers vs Tennessee State Tigers — Oct 16

The NCAA Women’s Volleyball season delivered another clash of underdog resilience as the Eastern Illinois Panthers (4-14) took on the Tennessee State Tigers (0-16) in a hard-fought matchup on Friday. Despite both teams sitting near the bottom of the standings, the Panthers’ modest win streak offered a rare bright spot in an otherwise dismal campaign, while the Tigers continued their season-long struggle for their first victory.

The contest kicked off at 9:00 PM UTC, with Eastern Illinois looking to build momentum after a mixed start to their season. Tennessee State, meanwhile, remained winless after 16 games, extending their losing streak in a league where consistency has been scarce for both sides.
