'Feels like we're flying too close to the sun.' Fans, players endure heat at Dodger Stadium

Extreme heat plagued Dodger Stadium during the opening contest of the NLDS, where temperatures soared to 103 degrees at first pitch and forced numerous spectators and staff members to seek medical help. Despite the sweltering conditions, the home team secured a 5-3 victory over the Atlanta Braves as the high temperatures and warm air contributed to five home runs.
