The Indiana Fever are entering the offseason without their top two executive leaders, following the announcement that team president Kelly Krauskopf is stepping down and general manager Amber Cox has been dismissed. Krauskopf, who served nearly three decades with Pacers Sports & Entertainment, had previously led the franchise to a 2012 championship and three WNBA Finals appearances during her initial tenure before returning to the role in 2024.
Her departure was confirmed by owner Herb Simon, who acknowledged her role in building the organization and delivering a title. Cox, who joined the team in October 2024 after stints with the Dallas Wings and Connecticut Sun, was directly involved in the hiring process under Krauskopf.
The team finished the 2026 regular season with a 28-16 record and reached the WNBA semifinals in 2025, setting the stage for a significant front-office overhaul.
