😱 Brain freeze, Muslera? Flamengo's nemesis gifts three goals; watch

Goalkeeper Fernando Muslera endured a nightmare outing on Saturday as Estudiantes played to a three-all deadlock against Instituto de Cordoba during domestic action. The veteran netminder was directly at fault for all three opposing scores, blundering early in the match, misjudging a cross after the break, and gifting another conversion later in the half.

Despite playing a man down following a red card to Nunez, the squad led by president Veron mounted a dramatic recovery featuring strikes from Guido Carillo, Tiago Palacios, and Perez Fabricio. The stalemate leaves the side unable to reach the knockout stage of the tournament with only a single fixture remaining against Talleres.

Attention now shifts toward upcoming matches, including a Super Cup clash against Independiente Rivadavia prior to the continental championship showdown against Palmeiras in Montevideo later in the month.
