During the third T20 international in Indore, fast bowler Prince Yadav entered the crease at number ten during the opening innings and contributed thirteen runs from six deliveries, propelling India to a total of 223 for ten. Batting with a willow borrowed from his teammate Abhishek Sharma, Yadav managed three boundaries in four balls, securing a fourteen-run victory after West Indies finished their chase at 209 for seven.
In a post-match video shared by the cricket board, Sharma revealed that he had urged Yadav not to disgrace the borrowed bat before the cameo. Yadav subsequently noted that he had previously used Sharma's equipment in England and Ireland, where he also managed to clear the ropes, and expressed his intention to rely on his friend's bat again in future fixtures.
