Zay Flowers injury update as Ravens WR misses practice

Following a 41-23 triumph over the Indianapolis Colts in their season opener, the Baltimore Ravens are managing multiple setbacks across their receiving corps ahead of a Week 2 clash against the New Orleans Saints. Wide receiver Zay Flowers re-aggravated a preseason hamstring issue during the contest, landing on the day-to-day injury report and sitting out Wednesday's practice session.

Meanwhile, rookie third-round selection Ja'Kobi Lane suffered a fractured wrist that requires surgical repair, prompting an expected roster promotion for veteran target Chris Moore.

Despite losing two primary perimeter weapons, starting quarterback Lamar Jackson expressed complete faith in the depth and capability of the remaining pass catchers. Defensive coordinator Jesse Minter also addressed the squad's mounting health concerns, even as outside voices debate whether Baltimore must look beyond its current roster to address the depleted room.
