Zaheer Khan becomes co-owner of Vancouver Anchors in Canada Super 60

Ex-Indian pace spearhead Zaheer Khan has acquired an equity stake in both the men's and women's squads of the Vancouver Anchors ahead of the Canada Super 60 tournament. Partnering alongside Stockholm-headquartered Anchor Sports AB and Nagendra "Naga" Siddoutam in the franchise's leadership consortium, the left-armer links back up with longtime national compatriot Yuvraj Singh, who holds an ownership interest in the tournament itself.

Both icons previously spearheaded India's memorable run to lifting the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup trophy.

Contested at BC Place in Vancouver, the second edition of the competition is scheduled between September 29 and October 4, delivering twenty-four total fixtures split across six competing organizations. Zaheer highlighted the importance of fostering competitive pathways for emerging associate countries and female athletes, pointing to his long-standing bond with Yuvraj as inspiration for this transatlantic venture.
