Zachary Bolduc scores decisive goal in shootout for 2nd straight game as Canadiens beat Sabres 4-3

The Montreal Canadiens defeated the Buffalo Sabres 4-3 on Tuesday night at the Bell Centre, a contest that served as a rematch of their previous season's playoff series. Zachary Bolduc secured the victory by scoring the winning goal in the shootout, marking the second consecutive game in which he has delivered the decisive strike.

This win improves the Canadiens' record to 2-2-1, while the Sabres remain at 3-3-0. The matchup carried added weight given that Montreal eliminated Buffalo from the Stanley Cup Playoffs last May, a result that likely still resonates with the visiting squad.
