Senators' Hot Start Hits A Sour Note Against Blues

The Ottawa Senators' early-season momentum took a hit in their latest outing, falling short against the St. Louis Blues in a matchup that disrupted their 5-1 start.

After a strong performance in a 4-1 win over the New Jersey Devils—where Tim Stützle contributed a goal and assist, and goaltender Linus Ullmark recorded his second shutout of the season—the Senators faced a tougher challenge in St. Louis.

The Blues, meanwhile, are showing promise with their top offseason acquisition, Mason McTavish, who has quickly won over fans with his early impact. The game also marked the NHL debut of St.

Louis forward Jordan Peterson, adding another layer of intrigue to the contest. Despite the setback, the Senators remain a team to watch, with key players like Shane Pinto and Stephen Halliday continuing to make an early difference in the lineup.
