“Why Are You Competing With College Football and NFL”: Dave Portnoy Calls Out WNBA as Valkyries vs Dream Game 5 Set to Clash with Cowboys vs Eagles MNF

Dave Portnoy has criticized the WNBA for scheduling Game 5 of the Finals on the same night as a high-profile NFL matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles. The pundit argued that the league should avoid direct competition with major football broadcasts to maximize its own viewership.

Meanwhile, the WNBA is grappling with logistical issues regarding the location of Game 6. The Atlanta Dream, who are currently tied 2-2 in the series against the Golden State Valkyries, face uncertainty because their temporary playoff home at State Farm Arena is unavailable due to a conflicting Atlanta Hawks game.

League officials are currently evaluating whether to move the contest back to the smaller Gateway Center Arena.
