Yankees rotation vs Red Sox revealed for MLB playoff series

The New York Yankees have mapped out their pitching order for the upcoming American League Wild Card Series against the Boston Red Sox. Manager Aaron Boone revealed that Cam Schlittler will take the mound for the opening contest on Tuesday night at Yankee Stadium, followed by Max Fried in the second game on Wednesday and Gerrit Cole in a potential third game on Thursday.

Schlittler enters the postseason following a dominant regular season where he posted a 14-6 record alongside a 1.95 ERA and 239 strikeouts across 193 ⅔ innings. Meanwhile, the Red Sox have kept their own postseason rotation under wraps, as Boston manager Chad Tracy opted against disclosing his pitching plans ahead of the series.
