Yankees ace Cam Schlittler is ‘keeping receipts’ for Wild Card Series preparation

New York starter Cam Schlittler is channeling past friction with Boston supporters as he prepares for the opening matchup of the postseason series. The pitcher, who grew up rooting for the Massachusetts club, has monitored critical commentary from local media and fans, turning those external remarks into extra motivation.

Last postseason, the right-hander dominated Boston across eight scoreless frames during a shutout victory that pushed New York into the next playoff round. Rival fans have continued to target the athlete and his family following that performance, while online personalities have scrutinized his statistics throughout the regular schedule.
