WNBA Finals Game 5 discussion: Can the Atlanta Dream unlock Angel Reese, or will the Golden State Valkyries keep her locked down?

The Atlanta Dream and the Golden State Valkyries are tied two games apiece heading into the fifth contest of the championship series scheduled for Monday evening at eight Eastern time on USA Network and CNBC. Angel Reese's individual output has dictated outcomes throughout the round, with Golden State securing victories in Game 1 and Game 4 by limiting her production, while Atlanta claimed comfortable wins in Games 2 and 3 when she dominated.

Valkyries head coach Natalie Nakase utilized defensive focus and Kiah Stokes's rim protection to contain the star forward, whereas Dream head coach Karl Smesko aims to counter by capitalizing on double teams and utilizing her gravity to create openings for teammates.
