Smotherman makes it two wins in a row on PGA Tour with playoff victory over Seamus Power

Austin Smotherman secured his second consecutive PGA Tour victory by defeating Seamus Power in a sudden-death playoff at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship. The event was shortened to 54 holes after severe wind gusts at the course made conditions unplayable on Sunday, forcing the final pairing to return on Monday morning to decide the title.

Smotherman ultimately clinched the win on the third hole of the playoff. His performance throughout the tournament was highlighted by his ability to manage his iron play effectively despite the challenging weather.
