Wings' Jessica Shepard has to step up in Game 2 vs. Valkyries

Following a difficult opening loss to the Golden State Valkyries, the Dallas Wings find themselves facing elimination ahead of Wednesday night. During the initial 104-81 defeat at Chase Center, teammate Paige Bueckers contributed 21 points while converting nearly every attempt, but Jessica Shepard struggled heavily by failing to score across twenty-four minutes of action and missing all seven shots.

Head coach Jose Fernandez addressed the media regarding the upcoming matchup at College Park Center, expressing confidence that Shepard will elevate her performance on both ends of the court. The upcoming contest represents a crucial moment for the team to rebound, relying once more on the form that defined her strong regular season.
