Willson Contreras traveled from Hawaii to Tropicana Field on Wednesday to watch his brother William compete in Game 5 of the World Series. Wearing a Milwaukee Brewers jersey, the veteran outfielder arrived to support the catcher as the Brewers held a 3-1 series lead over the Tampa Bay Rays.
William has recorded seven hits and three RBIs in the series while successfully throwing out base runners in each of the first three games. The siblings previously celebrated a victory together as members of the Venezuelan team that won the World Baseball Classic in March.
If William secures a championship alongside teammates Jackson Chourio and Antonio Senzatela, he will join Alex Bregman and Luke Gregerson as the only players to win both the World Baseball Classic and the World Series in the same year.
