Wild Card round Day 1: Open Thread

Postseason baseball has arrived with the opening day of the Wild Card round, featuring a busy slate of best-of-three matchups across the league on September 29th. While supporters of the Detroit Tigers will have to watch from home, fans can choose a new squad to follow as all four series begin without any rest days between games.

The afternoon starts with the Philadelphia Phillies visiting the Atlanta Braves at 2:00 p.m. ET, followed by the Chicago White Sox taking on the Houston Astros at 5:00 p.m.

Later in the evening, the Boston Red Sox travel to face the New York Yankees at 8:00 p.m. ET, and the action concludes out west as the Chicago Cubs battle the San Diego Padres at 10:00 p.m.

ET. Home teams will retain their advantage for the entirety of each series, and any potential Game 3 schedules will be slotted into prime time depending on the needs of the tournament.
