Why Steve Kerr doesn't mind the low external expectations placed on Warriors

During a recent media gathering for the Golden State franchise, head coach Steve Kerr expressed comfort with outside predictions forecasting his roster to miss the postseason. Kerr noted that lowered external expectations allow the group to concentrate fully on daily improvements and foundational habits.

Conversely, star guard Steph Curry reacted with sharp amusement and feigned disbelief when informed of his coach's comments regarding the low expectations. Curry ultimately walked away from the podium in response to the line of questioning about missing the playoffs, though the veteran recently committed to a massive contract extension to remain with the organization.
