Green Bay Packers edge rusher Micah Parsons will remain sidelined for the upcoming October 18 Sunday Night Football matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. Parsons, who has been recovering from a torn ACL and meniscus since last December, stated he is prioritizing long-term health over rushing his return for a high-profile game.
He noted that he is currently avoiding a premature comeback to prevent potential overcompensation injuries. Coach Matt LaFleur confirmed the team is waiting for the defender to regain full physical symmetry before clearing him for action.
While Parsons remains on the physically unable to perform list, he indicated he would be ready to play if the stakes were as high as a Super Bowl.
