Why Kirk Herbstreit dubs Louisville as Miami's biggest threat in ACC

College football analyst Kirk Herbstreit has identified the Louisville Cardinals as the primary challenger to Miami in the ACC for the current season. Herbstreit highlighted the squad's strong early showings and favorable upcoming schedule, noting that the program is one of just six in the FBS maintaining zero turnovers so far this year.

The team currently holds a 2-1 record, with its lone defeat coming against Ole Miss alongside victories over SMU and Villanova. Meanwhile, the roster faces a significant personnel challenge moving forward following a season-ending knee injury to linebacker Antonio Watts.
