What To Watch For: NC State Wolfpack

Louisville is struggling to generate a consistent pass rush this season despite retaining edge defenders like Clev Lubin, Micah Carter, and AJ Green while also adding Tyler Thompson and Jarod Smith. Aside from Ben Perry, the defense has failed to pressure opposing quarterbacks effectively or produce negative plays, creating major vulnerabilities in pass coverage.

Meanwhile, NC State prepares to challenge those secondary weaknesses after dealing with early offensive hurdles of their own. Following a tough opening loss to Virginia where quarterback CJ Bailey struggled to locate open receivers, the Wolfpack will look to capitalize on a Louisville secondary that has already allowed four passing plays exceeding sixty yards.
