What Indiana Fever staff, players say in exit interviews after 2026 WNBA season

Following a first-round postseason elimination by the Las Vegas Aces, the Indiana Fever held their end-of-year media availability on October 3, 2026. Despite a franchise-best twenty-eight victories during the 2026 campaign, the sixth-seeded squad fell short of expectations after sliding in the standings late in the year and losing crucial tiebreakers that cost them the opportunity to host postseason games.

Coach Stephanie White, general manager Amber Cox, and several team members addressed the media, though superstar Caitlin Clark and teammate Sophie Cunningham were absent due to schedule conflicts involving an ESPN broadcast appearance in Iowa.
