During the second ODI encounter against India, West Indies batter Amir Jangoo reached his maiden one-day international century off 70 deliveries. Following this milestone, he celebrated on the pitch by performing a Sajda.
His impressive innings concluded after accumulating 114 runs from 77 balls before he was caught by Ruturaj Gaikwad off the bowling of Ravindra Jadeja.
This performance contributed to a rare team achievement as Jangoo, alongside teammates John Campbell and Shai Hope, became only the sixth instance in men's ODI history where three batters from the same side scored a century in a single innings. The milestone contributed toward establishing a new highest ODI total for the West Indies against India.
