Vithya Ramraj secured a podium finish in the women's 400m hurdles at the Asian Games 2026, crossing the finish line in 54.75 seconds to set a new personal record in Nagoya. This achievement marked her second podium appearance of the event, following her contribution to India's silver medal performance in the mixed 4x400m relay earlier during the competition.
Ramraj placed behind Mariam Kareem of the UAE and Adelina Zems representing Kazakhstan, while fellow Indian competitor Anu Raghavan secured the fifth position with her own personal best time.
