Utah moves up in latest AP Top 25 College Football Poll

The Utah Utes climbed to No. 11 in the latest AP Top 25 College Football Poll after a commanding 41-24 victory over Kansas, marking their highest ranking since entering the season undefeated at 5-0.

Despite their strong start, the Utes remain the third-highest-ranked team in the Big 12, trailing BYU and Texas Tech (No. 10).

Their next challenge comes this Saturday against Colorado, a team still searching for its first conference win in 2026. Utah’s ascent follows a notable shift in the top of the poll, with Georgia now leading the nation after Texas dropped from No.

1 following a loss to Oklahoma. The Utes’ path to further advancement hinges on a win in Boulder, where they’ll face former quarterback Issac Wilson, now leading Colorado’s offense.

With BYU and Notre Dame ranked above them and set to clash in Provo, Utah’s momentum could push them into the top 10 if they secure another victory this weekend.
