USC Suspends LB After Vicious Illegal Hit on Oregon QB Dante Moore

The Trojans announced a one-game suspension for Desman Stephens following a dangerous late hit that hospitalized Ducks quarterback Dante Moore during Saturday's contest. Oregon ultimately secured a 41-27 victory, though the game was overshadowed by the controversial tackle and the ensuing celebrations on the field.

Head coach Lincoln Riley condemned the defender's actions while confirming he will miss the upcoming matchup against Washington. Meanwhile, medical staff at Los Angeles General County Hospital evaluated Moore, confirming he retained movement across all extremities after the frightening incident.
