USC news: Colin Cowherd blasts Lincoln Riley for 'little too sophomoric' culture

Following a weekend defeat against Oregon, the University of Southern California football program faced sharp criticism from analyst Colin Cowherd regarding team culture. The backlash stemmed from an incident where player Desman Stephens delivered a dangerous tackle to opposing quarterback Dante Moore, resulting in a concussion for Moore and a subsequent one-game suspension for Stephens.

While coach Lincoln Riley claimed he did not witness the ensuing celebration on the sideline, Cowherd argued the behavior pointed to a deeper immaturity within the roster. USC will attempt to rebound when they host Washington in their upcoming fixture.
