USC football freshmen tracker: How recruiting class fared vs Oregon

Despite a tough defeat against Oregon, the University of Southern California squad saw encouraging performances from several first-year players. Wide receiver Kayden Dixon-Wyatt stood out during the opening half by securing a touchdown and compiling 114 total receiving yards.

Fellow freshman pass-catcher Tron Baker contributed two receptions for 27 yards, while Boobie Feaster added a single 27-yard catch. Tight end Mark Bowman hauled in six passes for 44 yards despite making a late clock-management error, and defensive end Luke Wafle recorded two total tackles, including a stop behind the line of scrimmage, while working alongside quarterback Jayden Maiava.
