UFC Vegas 122 video: Brendson Ribeiro ends 4-fight skid with upset of Felipe Franco

Brendson Ribeiro snapped a four-fight losing streak at UFC Vegas 122, delivering a stunning upset victory over the previously undefeated Felipe Franco in the light heavyweight division. The win marked Ribeiro’s first triumph in the UFC, coming after Franco had bounced back from a recent unanimous-decision loss to Mario Pinto with a stoppage over Levi Dantas.

Meanwhile, the event’s prelims saw drama off the scales, as Ismael Bonfim missed the lightweight limit by a massive 7.5 pounds—far exceeding the standard cutoff—though his fight against Francisco Prado was allowed to proceed. The weigh-ins also saw two other fighters fall short, adding to a chaotic morning ahead of the main event featuring Brendan Allen and Christian Leroy Duncan.
