UFC 332 live blog: Natalia Silva vs. Wang Cong

The Delta Center in Salt Lake City serves as the location for the upcoming vacant flyweight championship headliner at UFC 332 between Natalia Silva and Wang Cong. Silva enters the matchup holding a twenty-win professional record, an undefeated promotional streak, and fourteen consecutive victories overall.

Her path to the title opportunity includes consecutive decision victories over former division titleholders Rose Namajunas, Alexa Grasso, and Jessica Andrade. She originally sought a championship bout against long-reigning titleholder Valentina Shevchenko, but Shevchenko relinquished the belt due to ongoing injuries.

Challenger Wang Cong brings a ten-win record into the championship clash following four straight victories, most recently defeating Tracy Cortez at UFC 329. Wang entered the organization in 2024 backed by a background in kickboxing that featured a victory over Shevchenko back in 2015.

With the flyweight belt vacant, the winner of this weekend's main event will become the first new champion crowned in the weight class in nearly eight years.
