UConn in the WNBA update: How are former Huskies faring in the playoffs so far?

The postseason opened with former University of Connecticut standouts driving the action across multiple matchups. Breanna Stewart led the eighth-seeded New York squad past the top-ranked Minnesota lineup by dropping 34 points and grabbing 12 boards during an opening 91-75 victory on enemy turf.

Napheesa Collier managed just 12 points for the defeated squad in that contest. In another quarterfinal pairing, Tiffany Hayes contributed 21 points off the bench and Gabby Williams added 20 to guide the San Francisco team past Dallas.

Paige Bueckers put up 21 points for the losing side during her postseason debut.
