UCF Q&A: What is the Knights’ offensive identity?

UCF head coach Scott Frost admits his squad is still trying to figure out its offensive identity one-third of the way through the season. Despite recent efficiency, the Knights have run fewer than sixty plays in each of their last three matchups, falling below national averages in both total yards and points scored.

Offensive coordinator Steve Cooper noted that the group is still growing and ascending as September concludes. Meanwhile, quarterback Keyone Jenkins set a school completion record in his second start but struggled with ball security after losing two fumbles.

Frost expressed little concern over the low snap counts, emphasizing that winning remains his ultimate priority.
