Connections between Alex Golesh's Auburn coaching staff, Tennessee football

When Auburn travels to face Tennessee, visitor head coach Alex Golesh will find several familiar faces waiting across the field. Golesh previously spent three seasons working alongside Volunteers head coach Josh Heupel, establishing a vast network of shared staff before taking over the Tigers program.

Several assistants made the same professional leap from Knoxville to Auburn, including newly appointed co-defensive coordinator Tim Banks, wide receivers coach Kodi Burns, special teams coordinator Jacob Bronowski, offensive line coach Tyler Hudanick, and assistant offensive line coach Micah James. The seventeenth-ranked Volunteers will host their former colleagues at Neyland Stadium as both squads look to navigate their conference schedules.
